Piano Appraisals
A Piano appraisal provides a written statement as to the value of your piano. It involves a piano technician performing a full inspection on your instrument, and usuing that information to do the necessary research so that a fair market value is arrived at.
There are a few reasons why you may want to know how much your piano is worth. First, in the event that you are looking to sell your piano, you will need to have a professional determine a fair value for your instrument. This tells any prospective buyers that you didn't just guess at what your piano is worth, but that you took the time and care to have a piano technician inspect and research a fair price for your instrument.
Or, you may want to insure your piano, and so you will need to have a written appraisal to show the insurance company. This will provide proof as to the value of your piano, and will ensure that you are not under insuring or over insuring the instrument.
Some folks just like to know what their piano is worth.
